Hopefully for the American Music Awards, 2011 will be a better year in terms of ratings. In 2010, the awards show had the worst ratings ever. How will it fare tonight? Will Adele win in all four categories she’s nominated? She’s up for Female Artist, Adult Contemporary Artist, Artist of the Year and Favorite Album for “21″. Unfortunately we probably won’t hear her beautiful voice tonight, as she’s still recuperating from throat surgery she underwent earlier this month. Receiving three nods each this year are Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry, Rihanna, The Band Perry, Taylor Swift and Rihanna. First off to perform is Nicki Minaj, performing ‘Where Dem Girls At’ with David Guetta. The show is jam packed with performances by Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, LMFAO, Taylor Swift, The Band Perry, Mary J. Blige, OneRepublic, Chris Brown, Drake, Pitbull, Lil Jon, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Maroon 5, Christina Aguilera, will.i.am, Enrique Iglesias and Ludacris. Whew! What a line-up!
